Founded in 1988, Art Effects has been a long time provider of framed artworks to many industries requiring picture framing requirements.

Originally opened in 1988 on Dawson Blvd, known as "Furniture Row" in Norcross, Ga, Art Effects started as a retail establishment for the local Atlanta customer to bring items to be framed.  Everything from shadowboxes to concert tickets, Art Effects was a retail destination for quality picture framing.

When the market landscape changed in the 1990's and "big-box" stores took over and started offering framing services, Art Effects switched gears and grew into a new location on McDonough Blvd in Norcross offering wholesale framing services to the trade only.

In 1992, The new facility offered a "spacious" 3,000 sq ft warehouse for manufacturing.  Upon discovering a new startup company to align forces with, Art Effects grew into the space adjacent to its then current space increasing its space to 4,500 sq ft.

In 1999, Art Effects had grown into a much larger company in the previous 11 years and made the transition again into a now larger and vastly more spacious 13,000 sq ft facility right off of the Interstate 85 North corridor in Metro Atlanta.  Multiple saws were added, larger production tables, high speed mounting equipment, vertical storage and most of all room to grow.

In 2004, Art Effects opened its doors to more of the trade clientele and started working with interior designers, art consultants, and photographers.  The company continued to remain steady as diversification into different industries proved to be the best strategy since the economic downturn of 2008.

After seeing most of the local competitors go out of business or close to pursue other industries, Art Effects remained steady and conservative through the 5-year recession and stayed customer focused.

At the beginning of 2016, Art Effects moved to the Tucker, Ga location in order to reduce overheads and maintain a more streamlined approach to its manufacturing.  The warehouse size remains the same, but the 4th move put the company in a better financial position in order to keep prices competitive and the business model profitable.

We are continuing to deliver on our promise of quality and value everyday for our clients.
